What about half-float colour formats?
I'm not directly suggesting to create a HalfFloatingPointColor mode, but
merely to have something like Format::XBGRffff for internal buffers if
32bit floating point textures are not supported but 16bit floating point
textures are. This would of course need some two extra conversion routines.
