Windows vs Linux #1214

What topic does your proposed suggestion relate to?

I'd like to make a guide comparing the experience of having a Linux VPS vs a Windows VPS.

How do you aim to structure your proposed change?

I'll structure this guide in 2 parts: User experience & Performance

Could you briefly summarise the contents you plan to write about to ensure you have the appropriate technical knowledge?

I've personally used to have a Windows vps before I've decided to switch to Linux. I plan to write about ssh vs the normal built in windows remote desktop feature while also mentioning that microsoft offers a free mobile app that made managing my system so much easier, about the fact that having a GUI can help but after learning a few basic commands any user can feel at home in the linux eco system (and yes ofc I will reference this guide for people wanting to ease in to the linux experience) and the fact that windows is usually a bit more power and thus be more expensive.

What is your ZAP ID?

What is your Discord ID?

Do you have any previous experience in writing and publishing articles?

Yeah I do. Wrote some articles for zap's docs page =)

Hi again @itscc8!

As mentioned in the other reply, it would be great if you don't submit too many suggestions at once to prevent you from being overloaded with many contributions at once. It would be better if you complete your existing contributions first and submit finished Pull Requests, before proceeding with further suggestions.

In this case, I'll put this suggestion on hold for now, until you finish off your other contributions. Once those are done, you can drop a message here and we can review this suggestion. 👍
