Sorry, but I don't understand what has the build of rust-fuse got to do with the installation of fuse2? Also, I use Manjaro and fuse2 2.9.8-1 installs fine.
I'm not familiar with Arch Linux, but building rust-fuse requires the libfuse library and its headers being discoverable with pkg-config.
It builds just fine for me on arch linux. Also, the referenced file is on my system, and owned by the fuse2 package, so that shouldn't be a problem.
ok guys, I was checking the error again today...basically this
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `fuse.pc\'\nto the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
so I did a search in my machine for the file fuse.pc and it was located in the folder /usr/lib/pkgconfig/fuse.pc
after that I check my $PKG_CONFIG_PATH and notice that it was empty...so I set to the folder
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib/pkgconfig
after that I was able to finally install the rust-fuse package
thank you so much guys @SanchayanMaity please check the response and if it still doesnt works for you let me know...
