The ESP32s could receive Art-Net commands directly, rather than requiring a central controller.

A few weeks ago I uploaded the Sparkfun example to an ESP32 and attached a short neopixel strip. I haven't tried Art-Net from a PC, but was able to control lights via an Android app, Art-Net Controller LITE.
