At first, I would like to appreciate your hard work and efforts in sharing your experience which is an awesome project for me as I have the same Samsung Home Theater but a different model (HT-TXQ120) which has an additional part as DSP (TMS320DA601).
I am trying to remove or just ignore this DSP by wiring the Serial Data of ADC (AK5358) as SDTO 0~2 directly to the PWM modulator (Pulsus PS9829B).
But I couldn't find any information in your project about the clock connection of ADC to Arduino (LRCK, BCK). In my model, DSP is controlling the clock of ADC.
Also, you didn't include any code regarding EXT_MUTE and ENCODER pins. I think EX-MUTE and RESET pin is required for power up and down.
So can you answer the above issue and help me to connect without DSP?
I can use Arduino UNO/NANO and raspberry pi 4.
As my Amplifier PCB (PS9829B and TAS5152) is separated from the main PCB then I can bypass it and design a new ADC for feeding the Amplifier. In this case, what is your suggestion? Which ADC can match this system and is easy to program by Arduino?
