Hey hey!

The widget does look super cool and it technically does perform as an audio spectrum. I personally have an issue that the displaying rate is super slow, like 1Hz or something. I've linked a video recording to show it:

Ryzen 7 7800X3D and a 7900XTX, so nothing to do with Nvidia.

I also just saw that it's something to do with the audio node. I've opened Qpwgraph and saw that it looks like the node is crashing or something:

This is also in my logs everytime the audio moves:

Jun 10 21:25:18 main-pc rtkit-daemon[4603]: Successfully made thread 144533 of process 144531 (/var/home/zastrix/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/Audio.Wave.Widget/contents/ui/Lib/audio_fft) owned by '1000' RT at priority 20.

Also another point which should probably be made into a new ticket is that this just flatout doesn't work when EasyEffects is being used.

I can confirm with this as well. I am having the same issue with an Intel Arc A770 LE under Arch Linux. So it's definitely not a GPU issue luckily.

On the note of the node crashing or at least going in and out. That looks to be the culprit. Although I am not very familiar with working with QT so I'm not sure how much I can diagnose on this issue sadly

Same for me, the widget is very slow and laggy, too slow to be pleasant to look at. Regardless of the refresh rate set in the settings.
