What would you like to talk about

I will report about best practices as well as technical decisions from various industry projects that could only be solved with a well-defined RDFS/OWL graph model and scalable reasoning technology due to the complexity and size of the underlying problem. I will sketch the challenges of selected projects from different industry domains and discuss the solutions based on the ontology model, language fragment, logical axioms, reasoning as well as tools.

Who might be interested in that (technical audience, management, data scientists, etc.)

While the technical details are aimed at semantic technology engineers, the business problems solved are intended to help managers to transfer the approach to their specific use case.

What would you like to know from other participants, what feedback are you looking for

Get to know other business problems for which KG technology is key Networking with solution providers, technology developers and potential customers

What is your background (name, affiliation, etc)

I am Thorsten Liebig from derivo GmbH. derivo supports companies such as Siemens, Bosch, Festo in building KG solutions in production. My background is in KR and Reasoning Technology. I am co-organizer of the Scalable Semantic Web Knowledge Base Systems workshop (SSWS) with colleagues from IBM and eBay and led the team that specified OWLlink, which was submitted as W3C member in 2011.

Would you be open to have the session filmed & published later?

No (is subject to approval from clients I will mention)
