zb3 / gnome-gamma-tool

A command-line tool that lets you change gamma in GNOME and Cinnamon (with Wayland). You can also adjust contrast and brightness. It works by creating a color profile with the VCGT table, so that changes are persistent and don't interfere with other settings like night light.

Add extension to new profile's filename #17

Adding an extension makes it easier to open newly generated ICC profile elsewhere, like in Files, or syncing colors with different operating system (as the profile's VCGT table works in Windows 11 as well, which really likes to see the extension with filename).
