The server is intended to create consistent API for various kinds of devices.

There needs to be a spec for which kinds of devices are supported. It needs to support:

Single on/off lights
Single RGB "pixels" (RGB spotlight, solid RGB strip, etc.)
"Heads", lights that move on axes (e.g. pan/tilt)
RGB strips (with multiple pixels)
RGB panels (two dimensional frame data)
