Unable to transfer a file other than image from gallery #32

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install open office or any document scanner or viewer
2. In file-transfer view, try transferring and picking a file other than a 
picture from gallery.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
RCS-e 2.2.8;

Please provide any additional information below.

The RI application is just for testing. We have only a menu to picture gallery, 
but of course the file transfer feature can exchange any type of file.
