When using the "no message" verbosity option, Facebook deletes the entire feed and displays a message "An error occurred It may be due to a technical error that we were trying to solve. Try refreshing this page."

While I was on https://www.facebook.com/?sk=h_chr (this is my home page) and scrolling down to see new posts - I confirm this problem, it happened to me now too. :|

zbluebugz commented 4 months ago

FB has changed their code - causing some weird behaviour patterns to occur.

Revising the code to find the sweet spot.

Temporary hotfix available: https://github.com/zbluebugz/facebook-clean-my-feeds/blob/main/beta/archive/beta-4-29-01.user.js

Don't forget to disable the v4.28 copy.

Will spend a bit more time later on to review and implement a long term fix.

Rusenche commented 4 months ago

@almahmudbd

1) try using fb-cmf script with the "sponsored" post option disabled 2) What other adblock/content addons/extensions/userscripts do you use when visiting FB?
