first of all many thanks for developing such a wonderful tool!
Reproducibility of results is not a concern of astrophysics modeling papers and your effort to develop an open-source library for radiative-processes is amazing.
I have devoted time to create a time-dependent SSC model using your packages https://github.com/cosimoNigro/blazar_model
My main reference is https://arxiv.org/abs/astro-ph/9810263, one of the few papers in which details about the numerical calculations are provided.
The code is not perfect and contains for sure a lot of bugs. Nonetheless I would like to ask you to check it out.
If you are interested I would be happy to integrate my code in naima and to keep working on its time-dependent extension. I think it's an ambitious goal, it would be great to work on it with your support!
I am not a theoretician myself but I am in gamma-ray astronomy and I can devote time to this since it is part of my PhD topic.
