there are two scanners used: https://www.artec3d.com/portable-3d-scanners/artec-eva https://www.artec3d.com/portable-3d-scanners/artec-spider
Spider is for smaller objects (higher resolution); Eva is for bigger objects.
We found that MPI has introduced dataset of free-form interactions of hands and articulated objects called ARCTIC (https://arctic.is.tue.mpg.de/). In the dataset paper, (page 8, in "Obtaining canonical geometry" they mention that they use "Artec 3D hand-held scanner" for scanning the objects. We are curious to know which specific Artec scanner series/model was used to scan objects and the reason behind the choice. Do you have any information about this?
