Flaperons on r/c radio could lead to crash if plane is in auto mode #772

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use ardupilot 2.65
2. Use radio with flaperon mixing (that is two channels for ailerns + flaps on
mixer)
3. Set up arudpilot to handle dual ailerons (so assign second channel for
second aileron)
4. Go to auto mode
5. Deploy flap (on the flaperon) on your r/c radio while still being in auto
mode

Expected outcome:
a) flaperon is deployed on the plane, OR
b) nothing happen (that is flapperon deployment is ignored

What happens:
- ardupilot recognizes flaperon deploymeny as instruction for banking hard on
one side

I guess ardupilot is aware only of a single aileron channel, and ignores the
other. Therefore the effect.

This effect prevents usage of flaperon safely when using ardupilot.

ardupilot was never setup to support flaperons.

Could it be? Flaperons are a simple mix, so why can't that be a firmware option?
