Why there is no Spreadsheet::Format :date ? #215

I want the cell to have a date format... if i use the :number_format for that, it becomes custom. If i dont apply any formatting it becomes "general" ..

but i dont want custom or general, I want it as date.

But i cannot find any format object/option for that.
