Did you try existing Home Assistant solutions ?

I heard about such solutions, but unfortunately a bit too late in the development... had I known projects such as the one you linked existed I may not have developed this one.

I guess for someone with an existing HA setup, who only wants to follow their consumption, ha-linky would be a very good choice. I've never used HA myself, is it possible to make custom charts, like the hourly consumption grid I made for elecanalysis?

No idea, but it could be nice to improve the existing add-on.
