Checking out to a folder already being managed #56

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Checkout a folder (let me call this trunk/repcopy1) in the repository to
a folder (let's say ~/dev/versioned1)
2. Checkout a folder (trunk/repcopy1 or any other folder under trunk/) to
the same folder (~/dev/versioned1)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
* Expected: if this is not allowed in svn, svnx should prohibit the second
check-out.
* What I saw: an error message does appear but another line of same local
path appears in the working copy window. If another check out happens, add
still other line.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
* OSX 10.6, svnx 1.0

Please provide any additional information below.
* I do not think that this would be happening very frequently. However,
some users may need some guidance, IMHO.

I don't really know what the problem is here.
You don't state what the 'error message' is, not the 'line'. I won't guess.
It is valid to have 'external' sub-trees within a WC.
I'm going to mark this as invalid for now.
