Unable to search current locality #1

  1. Launch the app
  2. Grant permission for current local
  3. Presented with swipe options in NYC - user wants Bay Area options. There is no HI on how to exit current locality.

Thanks for submitting this issue Jean-Paul! (We realize that GitHub is not an ideal reporting mechanism). Yes, one of the changes in the upcoming release is to allow for selecting SF or NYC (prob via image buttons) or Current Location. The way it's working now is that it shows everything within 25 miles of your current location. If no places are present in the system for that distance, then it defaults to NYC. We initially had it defaulting to SF, but I received a request from a friend-of-friend who is heading to NYC and was running into the same issue.

This is where in-app feedback would come in handy. If the issue was reported, then we'd have the Device ID associated and I could just link the SF coords to that Device ID in the interim (until next release).

The changes that we're targeting for this weeks release are:

  1. Select Location (to address the above issue)
  2. Shareable/Loadable Itinerary
