Can't fetch External Storage write permission @Android 8.0 #28

I attempted to acquire the write permission of the external storage from the global preference, but I could not write to the external storage. Application version: 1.3.4

I'm on Nougat 7.1.1 and I'm having the same issue. Just updated to the latest 1.3.4 version of the app and the games can't be played while on external storage anymore. Used to work while I was still on Nougat, but now, games can only be played on internal.

I can access the external storage and granted permission, but when I click on the data.xp3 file, the app just freezes.

Is this issue ever going to be fixed or do we have to rely only on the internal? Not all phones have 64GB or 128GB of storage so this is not a permanent solution.

Same problem with Android 7.0. can not load game from sd. 可以浏览外置sd卡里的任意文件,但是加载游戏时无响应。尝试将游戏放置在sd/Android/data/org.tvp.kirikiri2_free_10304/files路径下也没用。游戏在内置存储时加载正常。

I noticed something today. It also depends on the memory card for some reason whether the permission works or not. I have a Samsung 128GB SD card and I can play all my games on that one fine! I just exchanged it for a Sandisk 400GB SD card and the permission does not apply and the games will not run. I don't know why it works on one SD card while on the other one, it doesn't work at all. I tried them both today back to back and one worked while the other doesn't. Very strange issue.

So I don't think it's a major issue with the Android version, but rather the permission setting is not working properly for some SD cards while for others, it works.

Theres one solution to this i have the same problem with this. go to your Sdcard/Android/Data/org.tvp.kirikiri2/files, go to your game folder which has the data.xp3 select everything and put em on the files. After that rename the file like the games name and it should run
