FTP returns Error listing directory '/'

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When try to connect FTP 
2. It log's on ok but when try to  reading directory listen give's the error
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When try to conects FTP it log's ok, but when reading directory listen it 
give's me the error 
Error

Error listing directory '/'.
---------------------------
Could not retrieve directory listing
Illegal PORT command.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SNAKE OS V1.3.2 (20111019)

Please provide any additional information below.
What can I do?

It seems your user does not have enough permission to access that directory.

Or (and this happened to me) your default FTP directory is set to some folder 
in an external hard drive, and that hard drive is not mounted (or not mounted 
correctly).

Try going to the web interface, under "Sharing" and then "Users" and check if 
your user's FTP start folder is a valid one.
