Here on Ubuntu 24.04LTS, it shows "sign in", even though the git CLI is totally happy in the folder containing the file.
It's like it assumes you must login, and wants to be in charge of that, even though this can easily not be the case.
The repo is on GitLab, if it helps. Maybe it assumes Microsoft runs the only Git server in the world ?
same here
this seems to be fixed.
I am still having this issue. I am running arch linux with kde plasma. I have an amd 7800x3d and an Nvidia 4070 super. I installed from the arch package manager and whenever I launch zeditor I have to sign in through the browser again.
I'm also still experiencing this issue. System info below. Zed: v0.146.4 (Zed) OS: Linux Wayland arch unknown Memory: 31.3 GiB Architecture: x86_64 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER || NVIDIA || 555.58.02
Same issue on mac.
Same here. Started behaving strange with recent 0.148.x. Always looses my GH Copilot connection and I have to re-authenticate.
I am using Arch Linux on AMD Radeon with KDE and i3 window management. I had the same issue before, installing gnome-keyring
solved my issue. From what I saw Zed read the login info from it.
This is happening for me in WSL 2 (Ubuntu). It's quite annoying having to sign in every time I open it. I'm using version 0.150.4
