Edit Markdown with Live Preview in a Single View #15066

Describe the feature

Whenever working with markdown editors I'm missing the live edit feature. The idea is to generally render the markdown as if in the preview tab - but not the element under the cursor so it's possible to edit it as usual.

This makes working with markdown even more pleasant and convenient

Obsidian has this feature and I would love to see it in Zed as well

If applicable, add mockups / screenshots to help present your vision of the feature

Hi, can I please ask where we are with this issue right now? I can’t find it among the top-ranking issues. Is anyone working on it? I would really love to have this feature in Zed.
