Why is Workspace zoom slightly smaller than full size (leaves border) #16551

Describe the feature

Granted its a small border, I fail to see why this would be useful instead of using the full space? Also you can accidentally click on the border that looses focus.

It shows you the panels underneath, but the fact that the underneath layers are still clickable is a little confusing (here I have a collab panel open showing the hover state for the invisible [+] Create a Channel button):

Other notes that for me personally makes it weird or slightly more taxing for my brain

1) the text moves where my brain don't expect it to be, slightly lower and to the right 2) when you have one window you have to move the mouse to click the button a second time 3) when you have one window it makes it actually smaller

I totally agree with your confusion, but maybe this is some special design intention. If so, at least provide a fully rendered option.
