Save breaks characters #4306

Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

When I saved the document, some of the text got split into pieces.

This doesn't happen always, but it's the 2nd time I experienced it and it's pretty annoying.

Environment

Zed: v0.116.1 (stable) OS: macOS 14.2.0 Memory: 16 GiB Architecture: aarch64

If applicable, attach your ~/Library/Logs/Zed/Zed.log file to this issue.

If you only need the most recent lines, you can run the zed: open log command palette action to see the last 1000.

Hey @vilords - does this happen each time you save this particular file? If you are able to, could you provide this file? No worries if it can't be shared.
