Encoding / line-endings / file type display and modification #5294

Hello!

I did not find a way to show/set text-encoding, line-endings (CRLF, CR) and/or the detected file-type. Is this already on the radar ?

want a button to show and change the current line ending like vscode.

and, it may be better to add support of noticing line ending characters for version controlling tools (like git)
