Embedded Nitter timeline #996

Hi Zedeus,

Thanks for your work on Nitter which is what Twitter should have been!

I'd love to be able to embed a Nitter timeline - which would require code equivalent to that generated by the Twitter Publish page https://publish.twitter.com/. The Twitter version has been broken for two months now, and when it works, it's slow and resource-heavy.

I see that embeds are mentioned on the Nitter roadmap. It would be great if you could write the required code!

Thanks and best regards

Niels

This is still planned and will be added some time in the coming months. For now there's a ton of work to be done on making Nitter easy to host again, more reliable, and many other things that are a bit higher priority.

Thanks Zed - and good luck with all the coding! Niels

An embedded timeline feature on Nitter will be really helpful, given that Twitter's version is now completely broken.

Hi Zedeus,

As JingshanDu pointed out in August, Twitter's "embed feed" code is still broken - so a Nitter implementation would no doubt please many people... I'm still keen too - but I'm aware there's lots of other work to do.

Thanks for maintaining Nitter and best regards,

Niels
