macOS Monterey cannot open display #85

I installed zathura following the instructions, but when I try to open a pdf, I get this error:

I've looked at issue #83, but it still doesn't work.

Try export DISPLAY=:0 ?

I've tried removing and re-installing GTK as well.

I am having the same issue. Did you ever fix this issue @jsnchwn?

It's the same issue here on macos 13.0.1 (22A400) with apple silicon
