We want to redesign the documentation page. Our role model is https://wiki.polkadot.network. The main talking points are as follows:
Add a launch page
Note that's we've already organized our wiki into similar structure as the Polkadot wiki. We would also like a similar launch page:
The Basics, Learn and Build books must be linked from the launch page. The design must be modular in the sense that if we add another book, you should be able to easily add another link to the launch page without major changes to the code.
We should also add a note about contributions:
Improve the design/branding
We would like to improve the branding of our documentation page:
The color scheme(s) must match the branding more than it does now, but readability must be emphasized. The color scheme should be compatible with light and dark mode (or change accordingly).
The logo in the top left corner must be lightly larger, like on zeitgeist.pm:
We'd also like a logo in the footer:
Make small aesthetic improvements
Remove the terrible "external link" symbols from external links:
Add pretty icons for the links to standard social media, like GitHub, Twitter and Discord:
Choose a prettier font for the footer (and possibly for the rest of the text)
