This seems to be because the koroks take the line opacity option (always show/barely visible/not visible) and use it on their own icons for some reason. Then when switching layers, they disappear as usual, but when switching back the icons are now in the state that lines on different layers are set to. this fixes itself when drag-clicking around, but not all of the time.
