Hi, great work. Looks good.

When are you planning to go beta?

And some questions.

Would this work with an ajax addto cart extension?
And we would also like to show all our products on the front page in a grid fashion, how can this be done?

@seansan This should work with any extension by default. For your second question please refer to the Magento development documentation.
