Can't get vote command to show a clickable link no matter what I do #6

I tried for a good hour to make the /vote command show some text with a clickable link and no matter what I did (even used the tellraw generator listed in the config) it would never show a clickable link. It would show the text up to the clickable link, then everything from clickable link onward did now show.

How in the world do I do this?
