Switching from dark website appearance and back does not apply the changes to settings #1530

What happened?

In version 1.0.a.2 when I switched the website appearance to dark, and back to light or automatic, the changes do not get applied to the app settings. Screenshot from 2024-09-18 19-54-04

Edit: The issue happens only when selecting the "Night Theme" from the Dark theme styles and not the other two dark themes. Screenshot from 2024-09-19 10-09-27
