Tabs closing

What happened?

Even with the option "Open previous windows and tabs" it keeps closing it every time I close the browser

Example:

If I close the window, and try to open it again, it will recognize the window as 2 open windows and I lose the tabs on the first one

If I force quit the window instead, it reopens how it should

For me it closed all tabs in all workspaces. I'm unable to recover them.

Same issue there. Extremely annoying. Closes all the tabs, including those that are pinned.

Managed to replicate this very issue on both Windows and Mac os machines after recent updates.

The only thing that comes to my mind, is that i started to use sync with between my mac os and windows machine, which by the way works poorly. Maybe this is the reason?

Running Linux build here (1.0.1-a.7), tabs also not restored on open.

Edit: Interestingly, when cleaning up after bug #1797 I deleted all the extraneous .desktop entries created in .local/applications, and after I did that then the reopen-tabs behavior started working.

MacOS - aarch64 (1.0.1-a.10 (Firefox 130.0)): I don't use sync or anything. Just downloaded, enabled this option (i think it was already enabled), created tabs closed the window, opened and tabs are not restored.
