Extensions do not affect webpages open in the sidebar

What happened?

Simple, extensions do not work in webpages in opened in the sidebar, like ublock not blocking ads, dark reader not making apps have dark mode and bitwarden not being able to autofill login info

Tested if the mobile user agent might've been the cause, it wasn't the reason as nothing changes when i set webpges to the destop version

Here's an example with dark reader not affecting google translate:

I found a similar issue that might be relevant to your problem. The issue titled "Websites opened in sidepanel dont use extensions" is closed and was last updated on September 18, 2024. The suggested solution is that web panels don't run extensions because they aren't attached to any tab. The issue is acknowledged, and further investigation is ongoing ^[1].

Okay then, i swear the find feature in firefox must leave out things because i went trough all 16 pages of issues and looked with it for any mentioning extensions, fair enough
