Hey there, @emanuel-engineer! I'm here to help you with any bugs, questions, or contributions you have. Let's work together to solve this issue!
The issue you're experiencing with the new update causing tab crashes on the first attempt to open them might be related to recent changes in the tab management system. The latest updates have introduced modifications in the tabbrowser.js
file, which could potentially affect tab stability, especially with the integration of "zen" workspace features [1][2].
To address this, you might want to check if there are any updates or patches available that address this specific issue. Additionally, reviewing any recent changes in the codebase related to tab management could provide insights into potential fixes or workarounds. If the problem persists, consider providing more detailed logs or error messages if possible, as this could help in diagnosing the issue further.

I figured it out, for some reason, running zen in compatibility mode for Windows 8, and then running it back on Windows 10 mode did the trick. I also disabled the workspaces, since I prefer doing everything at once, I don't know if this was the solution, but, one of these two things made it work properly.
I don't think workspaces caused this issue. Most likely compatibility mode was screwing something up. Could you turn workspaces back on for just a moment and let me know if everything works okay?
Hey, sorry, been bussy with uni a lot. Yeah, i tried, and workspaces work fine now, with a newer update, but running zen in compatibility mode for Windows 8, and then running it back on Windows 10 mode helped solve it that time.

What happened?
Since the new update, every time I want to open a new tab, I have to do it two times, since it crashes the first time.
