I had not considers that but it is the best idea. Preferably with three options one for a ace Arsenal one for vanilla and one for both
Is your enhancement related to a problem? In my community it is up to the players to decide what arsenal they want to use. This is a problem because if I want to make them an arsenal I have to place the arsenal module and then go to the addon options and change my preferred arsenal to vanilla and place the module again and change it back. This is very cumbersome to do especially if you have 20 players screaming in your ear for an arsenal and complaining that it is only a "insert arsenal typ here" while you are in the addon options changing the preferred arsenal.
Solution you'd like: Add two different arsenals modules for ace and vanilla so that if you want both you can simply use both and if you want only one simply just use one.
Alternatives you've considered: Alternatively you could use the achilles solution and make the module add both arsenals at the same time but this would cause problems for people who only want to use one.
Additional context: The solution I most often get to this problem is to switch my preferred arsenal to Bi virtual arsenal and use the arsenal module provided by the ace mod to add an ace arsenal. The problem with that is the amount of mods we have installed, the loading time for the BI arsenal is 2 min long and this is not practical for changing a unit's loadouts on the fly like giving a Taliban soldier an extra smoke grenade.
