Hey @skibitsky, I can see how this can be confusing but it actually does work as intended. Sorting on synced means that all applications that you have selected as synced will appear first in the list. Perhaps the ordering view should be hidden if there aren't any synched apps?
In my opinion, the problem is that you use "Tabs" visual element as for sorting. I propose you to go with something similar to how Finder sorts list's elements or 1Password if it is not enough space for Finder approach.

@skibitsky you mean a segmented control, I like the 1Password approach. That one can convey even more information, like the total count of applications etc. I think I'm gonna give the one a try and see how it goes, thanks for sharing! ❤️
The list is always still the same.
And in general, it isn't clear what these tabs do. "Synced" may show only synced apps on the left, but what does "Name" stand for? Or is it sorting in alphabetic vs synced--non-synced order?
