[Feature Request] Search and Sort for bases #205

Description

It would be incredibly helpful to be able to search and sort bases. I have explored 85 galaxies and have over a hundred bases. It now takes forever to find the one I want to go to on the teleporter. Being able to sort and save the list in NomNom by name, galaxy, and creation date would make it a snap.

Search by the same would also be nice, but not as important. It would also be great to be able to export the list in a .csv file for offline reference.

There is a web app that allows you to reorder bases in the teleporter, maybe that solves one of your mentioned requests for the time being: https://nmscd.com/Base-Reorder

Thanks for the tip. Tried it but drag and dropping a hundred bases is a bit too much. Need to be able to sort by name, date, or galaxy. Hoping that it can be integrated in NomNom.

I would like to confirm that changing the base name or adding a preview pic in base building or discoveries isn’t supposed to change it in the game. Correct?

Thanks for the 5.0 update and all you do for the NMS community. It’s been rock solid.

If you change the name, it will also be used in-game (if blank the game-generated one is used). The preview image is only used for the collection feature; therefore, you have to export/backup a base to always see the image (in the next sessions).
