Bump Ruby from 2.7.8 to 3.0.6 #4094

Context

Samson is running on Ruby 2.7. The Ruby core team no longer supports this version of Ruby and will not provide patches for any security defects discovered in the future.

Change

Bump Ruby to 3.0, a supported version.

Considerations

Extra care should be taken with this upgrade.
