Unable to redact text in multiple browsers #58

Hi! we are trying to use the redaction app to redact a credit card number emailed to us, the app is stating the redaction is successful, however upon refreshing the page, the text is still there. W

e have tried this in chrome on a PC and safari on a mac and are having the same issue in both browsers. We also tried on a ticket with a new, open, pending, and solved status.

Steps to recreate:

  1. Navigate to ticket with sensitive information
  2. Open the redaction app
  3. Enter the text to be redacted
  4. Click "Redact This"
  5. Click "Yes, Redact the above text"
  6. Refresh the browser

Result: No changes are made Expected Result: Text should be redacted

@pipsterjenna I just tried using chrome. Can you provide an example of a similar string to what you are redacting (no actual CC numbers please). Are there special characters or something that might make this unique. Can you redact a phrase like 'hello world' and not just the CC number?

Hi!

It was a string of numbers, but there were some spaces. I entered the numbers individually and was able to redact, I just wasn’t able to redact the entire string.
