You can install zendframework/zend-expressive-tooling:dev-release-1.0.0
. It already allows symfony/console 4.0.
However that would install develop versions of zend-expressive and related packages.
Tried installing it but now it's complaining about zendframework/zend-expressive
:
$ composer require zendframework/zend-expressive-tooling:dev-release-1.0.0 --ignore-platform-reqs
./composer.json has been updated
Loading composer repositories with package information
Updating dependencies (including require-dev)
Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.
Problem 1
- Installation request for zendframework/zend-expressive-tooling dev-release-1.0.0 -> satisfiable by zendframework/zend-expressive-tooling[dev-release-1.0.0].
- zendframework/zend-expressive-tooling dev-release-1.0.0 requires zendframework/zend-expressive ^3.0.0-dev -> satisfiable by zendframework/zend-expressive[3.0.x-dev] but these conflict with your requirements or minimum-stability.
Installation failed, reverting ./composer.json to its original content.
Already created a PR, but I don't have time right now to merge.
No worries, I temporarily removed tooling to avoid this issue.
it is currently not possible to install and use the latest version of Symfony console as Expressive Tooling is only allowing versions
^3.0 || ^2.8
.Code to reproduce the issue
Expected results
symfony/console
version^4.0
to be installedActual results
