Spotify not responding #28

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening spotify
2. Starting one song (auto jumps to another song all the time)
3. Pressing another song within the first 30 seconds or last 30 seconds of song

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of a song starting the spotify client does not respond

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using windows 7 64 bit with the latest spotify client

Please provide any additional information below.
I am not sure if it is a dsbridge problem or not, but whenever i try to remove
dsbridge it just comes back on, i cant find where the dsbridge file is or
anything

It appears to be due to the most recent flash upgrade. If the dsbridge file is
removed from the flash folder, then spotify ceases to crash. I have tried using
an archived version of flash, but then dsbridge is not activated when starting
spotify. Any ideas / fixes?

I had the exact same problem after Spotify updated itself to version 0.6.1.352.

I fixed the problem by uninstalling Flash 10.3 and installed the latest 10.2
version of Flash.
