Unable to switch to an Input type other than "no pan; trackball mouse"

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Menu
2. Input mode
3. Choose any input mode other than "no pan; trackball mouse"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Other input modes worked the first time I tried the software but since I 
connected the second time, it always choses the "no pan; trackball mouse" 
option and doesn't let me change it to another type (other input modes are 
"grayed" like if they were inactive)

What version of android-vnc-viewer are you using?
0.4.7

Which VNC server/version are you using?  On which platform?

What is the size of the desktop you are trying to access (i.e. 1024x768,
1920x1080...)?
1680x1050

What device are you using?
HTC Desire

Are you using a custom ROM?  If so, which?
No

Please provide any additional information below.
Have tried TightVNC and VNC Server, and same happens in both situation. Really 
frustrating because such a great app' !

You are in full-screen scaling mode, whichever only supports one input mode.  
Switch to another scaling mode (Menu,more,Scaling) like zoomable and then you 
should be able to switch input modes.
