提案・要望

As a user who can only speak and read English and Chinese, I need Zenn.dev's interface to support English or Chinese for better user experience.

背景

  1. I can only read English and Chinese that I need Google translate extension everytime I opened Zenn.dev.
  2. Even with Google Translator's help, the translated content are not quite right.
  3. If Zenn.dev can support Chinese and English, it will help the efficiency of information exchange across countries.

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I'm a customer support of Zenn. Please let me consider it carefully as it is a measure that will change the reach of the platform. I have another point I would like to ask you about in more detail. In multilingual support... 1.The menu display can be switched from Japanese to English or Chinese, and the content remains in the language in which it was posted (the original language). 2.In addition to the menu display, the posted content can be switched between Japanese, English, and Chinese on Zenn. Which kind of support do you want though there are steps like these. Best,

These two solutions are great! Howevew, I am anticipating the first solution: "The menu display can be switched from Japanese to English or Chinese, and the content remains in the language in which it was posted (the original language)". This one should be the first priority.

I am happy to help on the Traditional Chinese translation work! Keep in touch.

In terms of "switching content between different languages", I would called this feature "tanslation". It might confused users if they can switch the original post content in different language because it's hard to tell which language is the original.

Thank you for your response. "I am anticipating the first solution." I understood that it's better to consider switching the menu display first. Also, as you said, switching the language of the content should be described as "translation". We will consider this with our team. Best,
