Hi there, very happy with Zenodo and how it has developed over the years, but here's one thing that still doesn't quite work as I would expect it to do:
Context: I am logged into Zenodo, my account is linked to ORCiD, I have made numerous uploads before. I'm using Firefox on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
Activity: I'm creating a new upload and want to add a creator; in the "add creator" dialogue, I can search for people by name, identifier or affiliation.
Expected behaviour: I type in my last name and the entry with my name shows up. I can accept and given name, family name, affiliation and ORCiD get populated automatically. (I know this works in principle, with people other than myself, even those who are much less intensive users of Zenodo than me. But not for my own name/data.)
Alternative expected behaviour: The fields come pre-populated with the data from my account and I can accept or decline the suggestion. (This would be neat, but that would be more of a feature request, it's not high on my list.)
Actual behaviour: I type in my last name, but nothing is found. I need to go find my ORCiD to enter it, as well as type in my given name, family name and affiliation. Every single time...
My question: Why is my data never added to the database? Is there something I can / need to do to make that happen?
