To me, ARIB-9125=new U+26F2 looks more like a drinking water fountain, or maybe
a
small fountain on a pedestal, while our e-4BC looks like a big fountain built
into
the ground.
I could go either way on these. If we keep them separate, then we have to
change our
name, or request to change the name for U+26F2.
(I have not yet plugged in AMD 6 character name data, otherwise the test would
have
found this collisions. I have that data and will get to it soon.)

In L2/08-077, the annotation for ARIB 915 indicates that this fountain
character can designate a park (so it is
probably supposed to be a large fountain)

The original ARIB document simply lists 9125 as 公園 (= a park).
The fountain icon is used to represent a park in this case. If you look at KDDI
Emoji, this Emoji is followed by Emoji for a camping lodge, and for Softbank it
is
surrounded by Emoji showing an amusement park, a roller coaster, a camping
tent, etc.
I think a good case can be made for regarding e-4BC as standing in for a park
(as
well a physical fountain of course). Thus, it should be OK to unify this with
new U+26F2.

Kat, your explanation about the fountain symbol representing a park sounds like
a
case for keeping it separate, but your last sentence seems to agree with
unification.
Peter, I can't tell from your comment 2 if you still think we should unify, or
if you
are not convinced any more.
Should we unify e-4BC with ARIB-9125=new U+26F2 and ask for an annotation there
like
"may represent a park"?

Mark agrees with the unification. In the names list for AMD6, U+26F2 already
has an
alias of "park". I added the unification in r67.
