DSMapBookExt_IPersistVariant_Load - 92 - Type mismatch

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.Download MapBook extenstion
2.Open existing mxd (empty mxd's work fine but once I save I get the error 
next time I open it)
3.Recieve error "DSMapBookExt_IPersistVariant_Load - 92 - Type mismatch   
error"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to open the mxd but recieve the error. I press OK and everything 
seems to work fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
9.3 Mapbook, 9.3 ArcMap SP1, Microsoft Windows XP Pro Version 2002, SP2

Please provide any additional information below.
I have downloaded this on other machines and do not get this error.

A similar error was reported[0] for someone opening mxd saved in 9.2 from 9.3. 
The
resolution which worked for them was to reinstall mapbook from EDN[1]

I reinstalled mapbook from the link above and now I get the error 
DSMapBookExt_IPersistVariant_Load - 72 - Type mismatch. So it changed from 92 
to 72. 
I did notice if I save my project then open again I do not recieve this error. 
So it 
seems to be a problem with projects created in 9.1 and then opened in 9.3.

Thank you for reporting back. Did the save and re-open fix also work with the 
mapbook
from here or only with the one from EDN?

I believe the save reopen only worked with the EDN download, that'll be my 
workaround for now. I believe that wasn't the case with the download from here.
