Cannot rename grid raster files (outside a GDB) #11

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a directory
2. create a grid raster (no-extension)
3. attempt to rename it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The rename fails. A error occurs instead.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
May be related to the choice of Arc licence. This action may require an ArcInfo 
licence rather than the ArcEditor used for testing
