Manually entering the location of the DNCLTs does not always update immediately #12

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the Main dialog in from a location that should automatically find the 
DNCLT (green light).
2. Switch to manual select
3. Delete the last few characters of the file path (so that it now point to a 
non-existent file)
4. Keep deleting letters until a "\" character is the last character.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
At step 3. it should regonise that it no longer points to valid DNCLTs, but 
doesn't
At step 4. a debug dialog shows when it shouldn't and then the status updates 
appropriately.
