This is just a comment, or possibly a suggestion:

Any future map catalogue should have a location filter. Assuming this is driven 
off named admin area (rather than coordinates) then we will need to be 
consistent in spellings, otherwise we'll end up with multiple choices for the 
same location.

Could this be driven off a pcode table or other admin table that is defined 
early in a mission.
